Few weeks ago, the chairman of Big Church Group of companies, Dr. Olakunle Churchill and his Big Church Foundation donated different items to five different orphanage homes in Accra.
And as part of a long list of events planned for the Easter period under the foundation was to play a celebrity charity match to entertain the kids on Easter Monday which he disclosed to invited media houses and bloggers.
The foundation fulfilled its promise by inviting celebrities from Ghana and Nigeria to engage each other on the field of play to see who runs home with the bragging right as the best celebrity team of the day and who gets to entertain the kids the more with their skills and impressive delicacy on the ball.
Celebrities who partook in the match were Elikem Kumordzi, TooSweet Annan, Enoch Atakorah, Selly Galley, Luckie Lawson, James Gardiner, Alexander Osei, Peter Ritchie, Praiz and more.
Dr. Churchill expressed his delight and share his thought on the whole event saying it was necessary to do this to put smiles on the faces of the kids and make sure they are also part of the whole Easter celebration and not feel the sense of been left out. He further stated the foundation’s plans to extend this to other part of the country and make it stay.
Praiz was happy to be Ghana and be part of the match and dropped hints of lots of music collaboration with major Ghanaian artists in the pipe line and the media should watch out for them.
