Another fast and rising artist that many have been talking about is Adenta and Ghana’s very own Abladzo Kwame.
Klu Frank, a student of Wisconsin International University known by many as the ‘King Of Adenta’ and by his stage name Abladzo Kwame, is one of Ghana’s most talented Hiplife and Hip-Hop artist.
In an interview, the Hiplife artist talked about his journey and how far he has come as a musician.
Abladzo Kwame described his beginning, “it has not been an easy journey because I had to do everything for and by myself. It has been a tough journey for me and my line of music”.
As he has been in the industry since 2009 of which he released his first mixtape in the year 2014, Abladzo Kwame shared some of his experiences and the things he would love to change in the industry when he was asked.
He said, “It is an industry where even your close friends see you as a competitor. For me, it’s different. We are all exhibiting our talents and this is a big market”.
“And if I have the chance to change anything? I will protect the rights of every artiste,” he added.
Looking at his scope/genre of music, Abladzo Kwame disclosed that he would love to work with some great arts in the world. He revealed that his fans should expect a great piece from him and a topflight band in USA.
He added,”I listen to local music, I like some of them but I never looked up to them because I never wished to be like them.”
When asked why? He said, “If I wish to be like them I might end up like them and that will affect my real self”. “I am open to working with anyone who is ready and good to work with me”, he concluded.
As to what the future holds for the artist, he revealed that his journey with KCMG and his team Chaniye Royals has now made him an affiliate of WILD RECORDS. The artist described this joint as a good one as he plans on getting his music to the world and making good connections with music lovers as well.
He concluded with a motivational speech to his comrades, fans, upcoming arts and the world by saying,” they should never stop believing in themselves, prayer changes things and I always say hard work will give us bread”.
