Ghana has always been counted among the few countries in Africa and the world with rich history and blessed with both natural and human resources.
The country’s acceptance and clinch to democracy have also been tested on several occasion but, in all, she came out victorious and maintain the peace she has become accustomed to.
Celebrating her 60th independence anniversary led by president Nana Akufo Addo, the parade at the Black Stars Square saw the rich display of our cultural heritage and the beauty of it was seeing almost all the dignitaries at the event wrapped in our traditional attires to promote Ghana and Africa.
Many applauded and praised the president for his re-assurance once again to build a country everyone from far and near will like to work with, a country that will thrive on loyalty, hard work and accountability by state of officials to the citizens and resurrect the confidence and entrepreneurial spirit of the youth.
The parade was attended by former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obsanjo, former presidents of Ghana John Dramani Mahama, John Agyekum Kuffour, Jerry John Rawlings, president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe and more.
