X-MEN TOUR UG: SARKODIE NARRATES HOW HE USED TO SELL YAM TO MAKE A LIVING | WATCH

The vodafone XMen Tour made a stop on University of Ghana campus after similar successful event at Kwame University of Science and Technology and University of Cape Coast.

CEO OF Sarkcess Music, Michael Owusu Addo (Sarkodie) and the CEO of Unique Trust, Prince Kofi Amoabeng were hosted on stage by female media mogul, Anita Erskine.

Sarkodie shared his past life experience with the students from when he used to stay with one of his aunties who didn’t really treat him well and he has to sell yam at some point of his life just to make sure he kept his music dream alive without fall out.

He also spoke on artists branding and how Ghanaian musicians can make that their priority to maintain standard in the game and last long.

Prince Kofi Amoabeng also took the students on a journey into his personal life where he was so broke coming up as an ex-military man. His wife could not handle the suffering she had to run away from him with their children.

And how some of those events in his life propel his decision to take on business and stay focus to build an empire that will employ mostly the youth and also get his wife to return home with the children.
